Welcome our New Teacher, Becky!
Becky moved from Chicago to San Francisco in 2009 searching for warm weather and immediately fell in love with the Bay Area. A friend introduced her to the world of Pilates in 2014 and she hasn't stopped practicing since. After working as a massage therapist for 9 years, Becky decided to pursue a career change and shift her focus towards fitness. After managing multiple pilates studios in Marin and San Francisco, she started her journey towards becoming an instructor by receiving her mat Pilates certification through Balanced Body in 2015 and eventually obtained her full 500 hour Pilates Certification in 2018. Since then, Becky has taught private sessions and group fitness classes amongst many reputable local and national studios.
In addition to Pilates, Becky also loves teaching Barre, TRX, and Boot Camp-style classes. She was able to complete her 200 hour Yoga Certification in 2020, helping lift mind and spirits during the global COVID-19 pandemic. Becky commonly uses principles from yoga, classical pilates, and her deep understanding of the human body to help guide her fitness curriculum.
Pilates is very much Becky's passion, which she loves to share with others. Every day, she strives to help change others’ lives through movement and positive encouragement. Her ‘relatable’ approach to working with her clientele has created strong personal bonds that span beyond just fitness. Look out for Becky on our schedule very soon!
