Kelsey

Kelsey Wiedenhoefer

Kelsey is a BASI certified Pilates teacher, Master Barre Instructor, and Level 3 Fascial Stretch Therapist. She has served as co-founder and Director of Instruction at Maiden Lane Studios, and is now excited and honored to own and operate Move With Studio.  “I believe that by harnessing the power of conscious physical movement, my students can embrace a more harmonious existence outside the studio.”


  Joanna

Joanna Clinton

Joanna began studying Pilates as a dancer seeking rehabilitation for her lower back in 2003. She quickly learned how the intricacies of Pilates exercises stabilized her spine and strengthened the muscles around it, completely healing her bulging discs. Her new-found strength led her to become a comprehensively certified Pilates instructor through Balanced Body University. Her focus now includes pre and post-natal Pilates, in addition to rehabilitation and Pilates for athletic performance. Joanna brings a deep sensitivity to her teaching and is excited to help her clients learn and understand the strength and power of their own bodies. 


  Amy   Amy is a movement specialist with over 30 years experience in dance training and performance. Amy holds a BFA in Modern Dance from the University of Utah and is a comprehensively certified Body Arts and Science International (BASI) Pilates Instructor.  She believes that by doing Pilates regularly, you will find a restored confidence in yourself, in your body, and in your ability to do what you most love to do.

Amy Kingwill

Amy is a movement specialist with over 30 years experience in dance training and performance. Amy holds a BFA in Modern Dance from the University of Utah and is a comprehensively certified Body Arts and Science International (BASI) Pilates Instructor. She believes that by doing Pilates regularly, you will find a restored confidence in yourself, in your body, and in your ability to do what you most love to do. 

  Diana   Diana’s love of Pilates is about how it makes her feel - calm, centered, and connected.Diana completed a comprehensive Pilates teacher training at Innerstellar, and she is also a certified instructor through Balanced Body at Agile Monkey. She enjoys supporting others in their movement practice and helping them to find a greater body/mind/spirit connection. She loves helping people at every fitness level unlock the movement potential in their own bodies, and feel confident in their own skin.

Diana Chen

  Rachel

Rachel Parker

Rachel took her first Pilates class more than 15 years ago and she has been hooked ever since. She felt strong, centered and present in her body and it was just the beginning. Over the years, Pilates helped Rachel adapt and thrive as she transitioned from dancer to journalist to busy mom. Now as a teacher, she is honored to share her passion for Pilates and movement. Her philosophy is to see the unique gifts and challenges in all students and create a movement recipe that brings joy, healing and empowerment.


  Rita   Rita is a certified Pilates instructor and certified Gyrotonic method instructor. Rita is also a classical dancer trained by the San Francisco Ballet School and has performed professionally with the San Francisco Opera, and in Brazil with the Niteroi City Ballet. After spraining her ankle during a ballet class, she was referred to the St. Francis Hospital and placed in a Pilates program which led to her full recovery under Elizabeth Larkam’s guidance. Rita’s broad client experience includes caring for professional dancers, athletes, people recovering from varied injuries and physical conditions.

CJ

CJ found Pilates in 2004 while pursuing her bachelors in business and fell in love with Pilates after her first class. She continued practicing across the United States and then in Japan. She dove into her practice when she suffered an injury and her physical therapist prescribed a Pilates regimen for her rehabilitation. The strength and vitality that it brought to her body was something she knew would hold a permanent place in her life. CJ is a PADI Divemaster and loves being in and around the water. She lived in Japan for 4 years and lead retreats internationally.

Kim Fabio

Kim began her movement career receiving a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Biology from UC Davis in 2011. Upon graduating, Kim worked in a variety of rehabilitation clinics and learned effective, hands-on tools to better interact with her students. When Kim was introduced to Pilates, she found stability to counteract her own hypermobility, and realized she wanted to share the confidence and strength Pilates gave her, with her students. Kim is a Balanced Body Teacher, a 200-Hour Registered Yoga Alliance Teacher, as well as a Reiki Master. Kim believes that we must be aligned physically, mentally, emotionally, and energetically in order to live to our highest potential. Kim prides herself on being able to find the appropriate blend of movement, philosophies, and energy work for each individual client.

Woody MoveWith

Meet Woody MoveWith! Woody used to be a resident at Kelsey’s grandmother’s in Monterey. He now is a member and resident at Move With Studio. Kelsey grew up playing with these wooden figures and always had a fascination with human movement. Her grandmother was a former dancer and dance teacher, so movement and teaching runs in the family genes.
